A343 crosses the River Enborne

The river is a tributary of the River Kennet with which it joins near Aldermaston. The source is near Inkpen in Berkshire and, as it does here, the river sometimes forms the boundary between that county and Hampshire. The Wash Water Bridge carries the road over the river.
