The sale here of donated goods helps fund the cost (c £1.3 million annually) of St Anne's Hospice which is owned by the Sisters of St Joseph of Annecy, who are its trustees. The Sisters have dedicated part of their private, fee-paying hospital (in the Malpas area of the city) to the free provision of this palliative care hospice. Next door is Grill & Bake takeaway.
