Image: © Martin Addison Taken: 12 Feb 2013

Looking like a chimney this structure, located beside the Railway Fields Local Nature Reserve, is actually a stench pipe carrying away the odours from a sewer serving the houses of Harringay Park (also referred to as the Harringay Ladder). The houses and presumably the stench pipe date to circa 1880.
