Brick tower mill built in 1845 to supply a local brewery with water. The sail were Hooper's roller reefing type. It is 27 feet to the top of the bullet shaped cap that is adorned with a fish motif. It was raining and the effect of drops on the lens can be seen all too clearly. This is the last standing windmill in Greater Manchester.
