Ballinbreich Castle

The ruins of Ballinbreich Castle, originally built in the 14th century, and modified in the 15th and 16th centuries. The castle comprised three floors with an "L" shaped ground-plan, and was originally the property of the Abernethy family. Ballinbreach Castle is now in poor condition, with a sign on an exterior doorway warning "Danger, unsafe building".
