LNER A4 Class 4-6-2 no 60009 'Union of South Africa', seen departing from a siding at Carnforth, with the 'Cumbrian Mountain Express' on 9th February 2013. Steam-hauled, the routing was via Shap, Carlisle and Settle, with the train having been brought to Carnforth, from London Euston, by a class 86 locomotive.
