The Georgian Ponsford House ("said to be 1740, and refashioned in early C19 and altered in later C19" http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1334198&searchtype=mapsearch ) is the green building in the centre. "The exterior has also been largely unaltered since the C19 and is an important architectural element in Cross Street." The car with its brake lights on has arrived at The Square.
