Opened in 1899 as "Burnham Beeches" by the Great Western Railway on its line from London Paddington to Reading, the name was changed to "Burnham (Bucks)" in 1930 and plain "Burnham" in 1975. Whilst the town is in Buckinghamshire, the station has been in Berkshire since 1974. View west towards Taplow and Reading, some 8 years before the line was electrified.
