DiY supplies shop at 8 Subway Road. The business traces its origins back to 1902, when members of the Sylvester family sold goods from the back of a horse-drawn cart plying the streets of Barry. The business is still owned and run by the Sylvester family. No doubt the name Silver Star was chosen because it sounds like Sylvester.
