Taken in September 1970, this photo shows Leyland Titans with Metro-Cammell bodywork in the cream and green livery operated by Blackpool Corporation Transport, a couple of rear-engined buses with Metro-Cammell bodywork in the orange and cream livery of SELNEC Central (Greater Manchester) and a single-decker 16 (YBN 16) a 1964 Leyland Leopard with East Lances 43-seater bodywork in the crimson and cream livery of Bolton Corporation Transport. They were parked in the depot area off Rigby Road having presumably brought people to the Blackpool Illuminations which were taking place at that time. A gas holder and radio mast belonging to the former North Western Gas Board can be seen behind the buses.
