Replacing a sewer, Emscote Road, Day 56

Day 56 was a Sunday. The replacement sewer will be able to carry increased volumes of surface water and so minimise sewer flooding. Here in Emscote Road, near the turn into St Nicholas Park, a wide trench is being retained with sheet piling, plates and jacks to protect two chambers still under construction.
