Image] was built in 1865, its tower was increased in height in 1924 as a memorial to parishioners killed during the First World War. The inscription reads: THE CHURCH TOWER WAS COMPLETED AD 1924 TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN MEMORY OF THE LITTLE LEVER MEN WHO DIED FOR THEIR COUNTRY IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918
