The field shown in Image] from a little further north along the A380. On the left is the Barn Owl, a pub/restaurant. In the valley on the right is the railway between Torre and Newton Abbot. Above on the hillside is the site shown in Image The new link road will cross the valley side; the house on the extreme left should survive, but houses close to it are doomed.
