This narrow covered passage leads into a surprisingly large space between two rows of houses Image This is the view from inside the square, as the recycling lorry had backed up close to the outside, and prevented a view of the passageway from the main road. There has been discussion on this website about what such passageways should properly be called: http://www.geograph.org.uk/discuss/index.php?&action=vthread&forum=2&topic=16469
