Built in 1822, this lovely building was used for Instructional Classes for the men of the village and also housed a Library and Librarian's House. These have long gone and replaced by a Mobile Library. The building is now used as the Village Hall but is generally still referred to as the Mechanics Institute. For more views ... see ...
