Here dedicated volunteers from Essex Wildlife Trust http://www.essexwt.org.uk/ are creating a Image on the Image Nature Reserve. a number of trees were felled, coppiced or pollarded (depending on species) in order to save rare rough grassland from becoming secondary woodland.
