Barrows Lane turning circle, Yardley

Now laid out as an ordinary two way road, this was once a turning circle used by route 16 from Hamstead via Birmingham city centre. Buses on that route arrived via Church Road (on which the blue car on the left is located) and then entered this section of road from the north, before using a short section of Barrows Lane (foreground) to regain Church Road. As the bus stop is still located in the former turning circle, buses still serve it, though they have not terminated here for many years.
