Hollingbury Castle

An iron age hillfort constructed around 250BC located on Hollingbury Hill. More a settlement than castle it was nonetheless protected by an embankment and ditch which still remain though the wooden stockade that would have been built on the former is long gone. This is a view of the south west corner.
