View towards Halifax. On passing the Akroyd Park lodge the broad pathway twists its way up a tree and shrub-lined incline to Bankfield Museum. The row of shops stand at the top end of Woodside Road. Dean Clough Mills are visible in the distance - a view that was at one time obscured by Woodside Public Baths.(opened 1893 -demolished 1985).
