Viewed from the edge of a level crossing. There is a For Sale board on the wall of number 1, Gloucester Road, Avonmouth, formerly a NatWest bank branch. This view was taken in June 2012. When researching this location before uploading this photo in January 2013, I noted that the NatWest website correctly showed that its nearest branch was about 1½ miles away, in Shirehampton. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3280986 However, several other sites, purporting to show current opening times of various businesses, each wrongly stated that the Natwest branch in Avonmouth was still open for business in January 2013, a small example of how much rubbish there is on the internet!
