Opened in 1889 by the Barry Railway on the lines through to the Vale of Glamorgan to Bridgend, and to Barry Island. View south west towards Rhoose, also towards Barry Island. Compare to Image taken 34 years later - the footbridge has been replaced and the semaphore signals replaced by colour light signals.
