Viewed from St Nicholas church's graveyard. Built between 1827-30 it has had a varied history to say the least, having been used as an officers mess then later apartments for the territorial army, the southern end was a home for fallen prostitutes during the 19th century, whilst 20th century residents have included Leo Sayer, Dame Flora Robson, Sir Roy Strong and a troop of anarchist squatters. These days the terrace lives a much more sedate life.
