The Church of St Peter and St Paul and the Manor House at Ash are located in a memorable setting on their own across the fields from the straggling village. The beautiful Ash Manor has a date of 1637 below the middle window at the top. In a week of generally gloomy weather which included fog and snow, this was the one bright day.
