View NW on Royal College Street at the junction with Camden Road: ex-LNWR (North London line) major junction. To the left the lines go to Willesden Junction (Low Level) and Watford Junction via Chalk Farm, and to Willesden Junction (High Level) via Hampstead Heath, Acton and Richmond or Kensington and Clapham Junction. To the right four tracks run via Canonbury to Dalston Kingsland and (until 1986) Broad Street, and via Hackney to Stratford and North Woolwich, Royal Docks etc. (Cf. Image]).
