The Face of Wigan is a stainless steel sculpture of a face created by sculptor Rick Kirby in 2008. The Face, which is 18 feet in height, stands in the piazza at the top of The Wiend in Wigan town centre, opposite the civic centre (background in this photograph) and The Wigan Life Centre Image
