St. Peter's Manor is believed to date from around 1618, with a major restoration in 1867. The house was the home of Dr James Nash during the restoration of the English monarchy under King Charles II. The Nash family were wealthy industrialists, owning woollen mills along the River Salwarpe. The high hedges make it difficult to get a satisfactory photo of the building, but it can be seen, as here, from the grounds of the Church of St. Peter de Witton.
