The Clock Tower - The church of All Saints is a 13th-century medieval church, thoroughly restored by the Victorians. One of its rectors, Richard Baynes, was heavily implicated in the murder of the Elizabethan playwright Christopher Marlowe. The building contains some brasses (including that of the Lord Chancellor, John of Waltham, in the reign of Richard II). On the choir screen is a carved wooden mouse, the 'signature' of Robert Thompson's workshop.
