Opened in 1954 by British Railways, this replaced the 1848 station which had been located beyond the bridge in the distance. View west towards Feltham and Staines some seven years before the 1954 buildings shown here were removed and the station rebuilt with a new building over the platforms. This work is still ongoing in mid-2019.
