Planning permission was granted by Dover District Council under application number DOV/11/00409 for the “erection of four dwellings and construction of a vehicular access (existing building to be demolished)” to replace a youth hostel that was standing on the site. The dwellings were marketed by Alsted Properties http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-36287221.html/svr/1712;jsessionid=D4ED8D9465E3442362E478F1EF6A65A1 and were described as a development of four, three bedroom, two bathroom terraced cottages each with a study, two allocated parking spaces and a rear garden.
