Dunkirk Memorial

The WW2 memorial is found in the graveyard at St. Clement's church, Leigh. It is dedicated to the fishermen from Leigh who helped to rescue many men stranded on the beaches at Dunkirk, 1st June 1940 and sadly lost their lives themselves.
