The 1:25000 and 1:50000 maps show this footpath, which runs alongside the Afon Dyfi from Pont Mallwyd, stopping abruptly at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, around 500m south of here. Larger scale maps show a path (although not necessarily a right of way), continuing for a further 200m or so to meet the A470.
