The main road, Woodstock Road is the A4144. The building behind the wall is St Aloysius Catholic Primary School. In the 1850s there was a guardstone at this junction which had an Ordnance Survey cut mark benchmark, which is described on the Bench Mark Database at http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm28731
