The Dock in lies part way up Quay Street, just above Image The George VI postbox was the first one in the country to be painted gold in 2012, in recognition of the first Team-GB gold medal at the summer Olympics. This was won by the local rower Helen Glover and her partner Heather Stanning, in the 2000m Women's Pairs rowing event at Eton Dorney Lake, on 1st August.
