The bendybus (a Scania Omnicity (Articulated)) is waiting at a St Mary Street bus stop in Cardiff city centre. The Baycar service was introduced in 2006 to link the city centre with the former Cardiff docklands area which had been redeveloped to create Cardiff Bay, now a mainly entertainment and retail area. The Baycar service is part of the Cardiff Bus network, but is unique in having its own branded vehicles.
