Long shadows interfere with this image, but the strong style of the chapel is well displayed in the bright Winter light. The inscription above the entrance is simply BETHANIA MC, so I am guessing that it is a Methodist congregation. The separate date stone on the gable reads 1884. Bethania Chapel has a rare single manual positive organ, thought to be unique to Wales, originally built for St George’s Hotel in Llandudno, in about 1900. The North Wales Weekly News reports a recent fundraising effort to restore the organ (August 2012).
