An 18th century flint barn that has been converted into a residence. The narrow lane is Winton Street which is the main street for the small hamlet of Winton and heads west from the C39 until it reaches Image when the highway heads south to Alfriston along another narrow lane called West Street. The current traffic jam up ahead is due to North Street, the C39, still being under some water and a diversion has been set up. Needless to say both narrow lanes are unable to take two way traffic particularly well.
