A partial view from the west down the drive. Glimpsed from the other side the Hall appears a substantial, old timber-framed brick house (not to be confused with the National Trust's Packwood House in SP1772). Pevsner has nothing to say about the Hall; Douglas Hickman only says that St Giles's Church is approached past an old moated grange, with two red-brick bridges for access (one of which is in view). Could it have been the vicarage that gave its name to Vicarage Road just to the north?
