With visitor car park deserted on New Year's Day. The product from this rather unattractive building was probably responsible for a few headaches this morning. The Visitor Centre at the distillery is currently being extended and refurbished, and should be open in time for the 2013 summer season. Although this picture was taken very shortly after mid-day, the shadow on the wall, centrally, shows how low in the sky the sun is at this time of year at this northerly latitude.
