Opened in 1971 by British Rail on its Middlesbrough to Darlington line, this is an illogical station - next to the A67 road - but there is no access except from within the airport complex. View east towards Allens West and Middlesbrough. No trains called here after April 2022 and by January 2024 the footbridge and platform 2 (on the left, mostly hidden) had both been demolished - see Image for a 2025 view from a similar camera position.
