Not many London tourists visit Wandsworth Road Station, and on a miserable late December day in the rain it is not difficult to understand why. However, the station has recently gained a new service, with bright clean London Overground trains operation between Clapham Junction and Highbury & Islington every 15 minutes, replacing the former South London line service of a train every half hour between Victoria and London Bridge.
