Located on the north side of Shirehampton Road, a few metres west of the Kings Weston Road junction. The former turnpike lodge is a rebuild c1840 of an earlier lodge which controlled traffic and collected tolls on the Shirehampton Turnpike through Shirehampton Park. Grade II listed in January 1959.
