Fixtures alongside a minor road on the east side of the B4008 Gloucester Road are a red postbox on a stand and a Standish Parish Council noticeboard. The hamlet of Stroud Green is in the civil parish of Standish, located north of Stonehouse. A dustbin with a black plastic liner serves as a litter bin. A recently-removed red phone box used to be located out of shot a few metres to the left of the dustbin.
