Managed by Abbeyfield Llandeilo Society Ltd, the building at 1 George Street contains 10 flats, with the support of resident management staff. A blue plaque http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3270692 on the building records that it was formerly the George Inn, where troops were billeted during the Rebecca Riots of the 1840s. The building was later in use as a vicarage.
