What a scenic park with its landscaped slopes and vistas. Parks are often municipal, bland, mundane and a poor version of open space provided by the State, ending up under-used, under loved and abused by teenage gangs, crafty dog-walkers who shirk their scooping responsibilities, wanton vandals, litterbugs and flytippers. But this park seems well respected and still held in honour for the fallen, in whose name it was first created.
