The town crier is mid-"Oyez!" as he announces the commencement of the nativity parade. Two donkeys will accompany children as Mary and Joseph, Mary carrying a doll representing the infant Jesus, on a route through the town centre where an empty crib on a bed of straw awaits them. Three wise men on camels will follow them along the route.
