Hall's Croft, the home of Dr John Hall and his wife Susanna is situated in Old Town, Stratford upon Avon. Susanna Hall was the eldest daughter of William Shakespeare. Dr. Hall was famous in his own right for discovering and prescribing a herbal cure for scurvy, about 100 years before British Naval Physicians began prescribing limes for the vitamin C deficiency disease.
