View northward, towards York and the North: ex-GNR section of the electrified ECML that extended a mile or two further to Shaftholme Junction, where it was ex-NER. The station here was closed to passengers on 5/8/52, to goods on 7/12/64. Not a trace seemed to be left in 1992.
