Part of Thornhill Road shops. A valuable local amenity. The '60's, eh...ruddy architects. On the positive side still evocative of forward-thinking, modernism, 'the new' and a certain idealism that we have lost. I see shops like this and hear the Beatles, picture a pale blue Cortina and Subbuteo, maybe a Sherbert Dip and a copy of the Dandy and the possibility of a bike ride or a kickabout.
