The mature beech tree has dropped seeds which have sprouted at the road-side and many saplings can be seen, still having their autumn leaves. Alongside it were sycamore and ash trees doing the same. This hillside could quickly become woodland if desired without planting by humans. Note that no tree guards were needed here!
