The village pub is located alongside the road from Arley railway station (on the heritage Severn Valley Railway (SVR)) to the small village of Upper Arley (ahead), though there is only a footbridge http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3243892 across the river. There were many visitors to Arley arriving by train today during the SVR's Autumn Steam Gala weekend.
